Magazines and books offer a high margin and low risk product category that makes your store more appealing to consumers. No other category in your store can directly cater to your customer more than magazines and books.

Magazines make the checkout more appealing for retailers. At $.58 true profit per unit—compared to only $.12 for candy or $.08 for carbonated beverages—magazines provide higher profit than other frontend categories.
