Magazine draws are determined by your sales on previous issues and are regulated every time we invoice the new issue. We make adjustments to the draws based on the number of checkout pockets in your store, or for additional promotional space. You should expect to return product each week, and the amount returned should equal about half the amount as the new delivery. For example, if two boxes were delivered, one box should be returned.
In general, magazines do not need to be on the shelf longer than 4 weeks and most can be removed after 2-3 weeks. Weeklies should be returned after one week. If you have multiple issues of the same magazine in your store, check the issue code on the UPC (last two digits) and return the issue with the smallest number. Our books are stickered with an expiration date. The date listed on the label is the date when it should be returned.
All returned magazines are immediately shredded and recycled. All returned books are immediately sent back to the publisher.
We distribute copies of current magazines, and therefore do not carry inventory on old magazines. We recommend contacting the publisher to inquire about purchasing older issues.

To set up an account, we require a minimum of a 4-foot space, which can hold about 100 titles. See our section on Fixtures to learn more about options and recommendations for fixtures.
Move copies from the closed or slower checkout lanes to the lanes that are open. Our distribution system will automatically increase the draws on the next issues if the sales are strong. If you do not see the increase over subsequent issues call or email your Gopher News Company sales representative, or see our form under Contact Us. We’ll need to know what title and how many checkout pockets there are.
